Agricultural Conservation Alternatives Working Group (ACA)
The ACA project began as a working group of agriculture and conservation leaders convened by the CAE to look at incentive-based approaches to resource conservation. The ACA working group reviewed a number of ideas for the 1996 Farm Bill and identified those that deserved additional research. Nine ideas were then presented to researchers to review and analyze. The collection of white papers was edited and published.
