Conservation Compliance and Producers in the Corn Belt
We interviewed farmers in the corn belt about their attitudes on conservation compliance. This was a follow-up to an AFT national survey conducted in the fall of 1992, which singled out the Midwest as an area where attitudes towards conservation compliance seemed less positive. However, the survey found that most farmers in the Midwest continued to support compliance plans despite weather problems during 1993.
